TANK: Unidentified armed men kidnapped four people, including Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Islamabad’s Assistant Commissioner Riaz Miani and three other officials, on Thursday.
Police said that armed men who were wearing masks, abducted AC Riaz Miani along with three other officials while he was on a visit to his home town Kot Murtaza in Tank for fateha khawani of his mother.
The police cordoned off the area soon after the incident and launched a search operation for the abductors but they managed to escape.
However, the police are hopeful that the four abducted individuals would be recovered safely soon.
