ISLAMABAD: Minister for Housing and Works Tariq Bashir Cheema on Friday said Prime Minister Imran Khan would launch the housing project in Quetta on Sunday.
Addressing a press conference here, Tariq Bashir Cheema said PM Khan had promised for the housing projects during his election campaign.
“Prime Minister Khan has given approval for establishment of the housing authority. Until establishment of the housing authority, Naya Pakistan Housing company will work on the projects,” he said.
He said 5,000 apartments would be built on 29 acre in Wahdat Colony, Quetta. The project in Quetta would be started in cooperation with the provincial government, he added.
The minister for housing and works said the housing projects would also be launched in Gwadar, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Islamabad. He said 55,000 apartments would be built in Gwadar and 54,000 in Fishermen Colony.
