BADIN: At least eight people died and 32 others including women and children were injured when a passenger coach overturned here on Friday, police said.
According to details, the accident took place near Mor Jhar in district Badin where a Karachi-bound passenger coach coming from Mithi turned turtle due to speeding.
At least eight people including a woman and a child died on the spot in the accident while 32 others were injured. The injured included women and children.
Four among the deceased were identified as coach driver Mano, Ramzan, Zainab and Abdullah.
The rescue personnel shifted the bodies and injured to district hospital Badin where some wounded people were referred to Karachi due to critical condition.
Rescue sources said that many among the injured were in critical condition and it was feared that the death toll could rise further.
