CHARSADDA: Three members of a family died while three children were injured when the roof of a house collapsed in Charsada on Thursday.
According to details, the dilapidated roof of a house located in tehsil Tangi of Charsadda came down after heavy rain followed by wind storm lashed the area.
Husband, wife and their daughter died in the incident while the other three children were seriously injured.
The relatives of victim family and dwellers of the area on a self-help basis pulled out the bodies, injured and shifted them to hospital. The bodies were handed over to heirs after postmortem while the injured children were under treatment.
