ISLAMABAD: Former finance minister Miftah Ismael on Monday filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to seek interim bail in a corruption case pertaining to LNG quota.
The petitioner had prayed the court to stop the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from arresting him during the investigation of LNG case. He stated that he was ready to join the NAB investigation.
The petitioner had also attached the copies of NAB call-up notices and questionnaire with his bail petition.
Secretary Ministry of Law and Justice, Chairman NAB and investigation officer had been nominated as respondents in the plea.
