Bhartiya Janta Party Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Raja Singh stole a Pakistani patriotic song released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and tried to pass it off as his own while barely making any changes to the original song.

DG  ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor while commenting on the matter on Twitter threw light on the rather overconfident act of plagiarism.

“Glad that you copied. But copy to speak the truth as well. #PakistanZindabad,” he said on his personal Twitter account.

It is pertinent to mention here that only the word only Pakistan has been replaced with Hindustan in the song.

Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir also took to Twitter to comment on the news; however, he was not as easy going as the Pakistan Army spokesperson.

“I am not glad because this is not copy but theft very unimpressive voice humiliation to those who are dedicated,” he said.
