LAHORE: Three persons were killed and five others, including a minor girl, sustained injuries in road accidents across Punjab.
According to details, a student named Samad Baloch died when a car hit his bike near the University of Management and Technology in Lahore on Friday night.
The students staged protest after the incident and blocked the road.
In another incident, two brothers lost their lives when a high-speed truck hit the bike and ran it over in Safdarabad area of Shah Kot.
The locals grabbed the truck driver and handed over to police.
Another accident took place in Shujabad area of Multan in which five persons of a family including minor girl and woman injured when a tractor-trailer collided with a car.
