ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Communications Murad Saeed on Friday claimed that they recovered public money worth Rs4.4 billion from corrupt elements.
Talking to journalists, Murad Saeed said that Sharif family was frustrated as their corruption was being exposed. He said that on the other hand, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari initiated ‘Abu Bachao’ campaign. The minister said that both PML-N and PPP wanted to conceal their corruption. The minister said that they would spend the money recovered from corrupts elements on the masses.
He said that a severe water crisis gripping Sindh and added that the provincial government should focus on malnutrition and closed schools. The minister said that inquiry underway against 13 officials of National Highway Authority.
Murad said that ‘Clean and Green Pakistan’ drive was part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’ revolutionary vision and added that the drive was continued across the country.
