RAWALPINDI: Four major generals of Pakistan Army have been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General.
Those promoted include Maj Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Maj Gen Nauman Mahmood, Maj Gen Azhar Abbas and Maj Gen Faiz Hameed.
On April 3, the army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed promotions of 40 brigadiers to the rank of major general, including 11 from the Army Medical Corps.
Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa presided over the meeting of the promotion board at the General Headquarters (GHQ).
