A tyre mender was shot dead by a customer who had an argument with him four days earlier in Lahore on Friday, according to a local media report.
The crime took place in the area of Sandha. According to the details, a customer who had come to 25-year-old Zulfiqar’s tyre puncture shop on April 8 was unwilling to pay an extra Rs20.
“Zulfiqar had asked for Rs70 for mending the motorbike puncture which enraged the man in question who had insisted to pay Rs50 which he [Zulfiqar] rejected,” the aggrieved family told the police.
“The same customer came to Zulfiqar’s shop after four days, gunned him down and fled the scene,” they added.
According to the police, an FIR of the incident had been registered and search for the murderer is underway.
