National Accountability Bureau(NAB) has tightened the noose against former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the Air Blue case and converted its initial inquiry into a formal investigation.
The accountability watchdog has also asked the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to submit all record of Air Blue.
According to details, NAB has also started investigating the cases related to LNG and assets beyond means against the PML-N leader.
NAB Rawalpindi has written a letter to CAA asking to submit the details of Abbasi’s air company. The aviation authority has been asked to submit all record of Air Blue’s income and costs.
It is pertinent to mention here that a day earlier a senior minister of PTI said that the premier Imran Khan has tasked every lawmaker to unearth the corruption done by PML-N bigwigs.
