DADU, SINDH: University of Sindh’s students boycotted classes on Wednesday against lack of facilities and alleged corruption in the university finances.

The students of Information Technology, Arts and English departments boycotted the classes against non-provision of facilities and alleged abuse of powers.

The protesters raised slogans against the university administration for not providing required facilities to them for better education. They alleged that the university administration was involved in embezzling funds allocated for the student facilities.

They said that students were facing immense problems due to non-restoration of park and non-installation of fans in classrooms.

They appealed to Sindh Governor Imran Ismael, National Accountability Bureau chief Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to take notice of the issue and help them for the provision of required facilities.

They also demanded action against the corrupt officials and the return of the embezzled money so that early provision of facilities to the students could be provided for a better education system.
