Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday slammed the leaders of India and Israel, terming them “morally bankrupt” for occupying territories which do not rightfully belong to them, in defiance of international law and the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

In a tweet, the premier said that when the leaders of India and Israel defy international law, their constitutions and the UNSC resolutions to annex occupied West Bank and Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), do the people not feel outraged. Questioning the limits of the political leaders of India and Israel, the prime minister said that he wonders how far they would go to simply win an election.

“When leaders in Israel & India show a moral bankruptcy in their readiness to annex occupied West Bank & IOK in defiance of int law, UNSC resolutions & their own Constitution for votes, don’t their ppl feel a sense of outrage & wonder how far they will go simply to win an election?” he wrote.
