LAHORE: Incarcerated prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, Opposition leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz met at Jati Umra and had lunch together on Sunday.

Sources stated that the Sharif family held the discussion on the contemporary issue of NAB’s raid for arresting Hamza Shehbaz.

On this occasion, PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz was also present in the meeting.

It is pertinent to mention that the Interpol has refused to issue red warrants for the arrest of Hussain Nawaz.

A five-member commission of the Interpol reviewed the application submitted by the Pakistani government to issue red warrants for the arrest of Hussain Nawaz.

The commission, however, rejected the application which caused a major blow to the efforts of Pakitan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led government against the family of former Premier Nawaz in an ongoing probe against corruption allegations.

The Interpol also made it clear to the Pakistani government that the submitted shreds of evidence are insufficient to hear on the application, therefore, it is rejected by the commission.
