Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Naeemul Haque has said Prime Minister Imran Khan never issues any directives to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Sunday.

“The government has neither influenced the anti-graft watchdog nor it will in the future”, Haque said while interacting with the newsmen in Islamabad.

The raid at Hamza Shehbaz Sharif was conducted by the accountability bureau in accordance with the law and the PML-N leader resisted the arrest for two days.

Nawaz and other persons who looted the nation’s resources will have to face the music, he continued.

Replying to a query by a journalist on the anti-government long march by Fazlur Rehman and Asif Zardari he said that they cannot do anything and will fail.

Taking a jibe at the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Haque said ‘He [Bilawal] is a child and has nothing to do with people of Pakistan.

On a question asked about Punjab CM, he said that Buzdar is governing a big province which is not an easy job.

He said the premier is also paying special attention to uplift the sports in the country as developing the sector will help in creating a healthy environment.
