LARKANA: As many as 14 cases of impersonators were detected by Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE), Larkana vigilance teams on Saturday in Chemistry paper-I: six cases in Larkana and eight in Dadu district.

Annual examinations of SSC Part-I and II are under way in the entire province but the use of unfair means by candidates is still continuing despite provincial education minister’s tours and strict warnings to the invigilators, principals and headmasters.

The vigilance teams have already caught 137 copy cases and 260 impersonators in Larkana Division and Dadu district. The teams; however, found no cheating case in Jacobabad and Shikarpur.

On the direction of the Secretary, Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, Karachi, BISE Larkana Deputy Secretary Sikander Ali Mirjat, has cancelled the examination centre of Government Higher Secondary School, Khairpur Juso, on account of “grave mismanagement”.

The remaining papers of SSC Part-I & II annual exam will now be conducted at Government Higher Secondary School of Wagan, for which the relevant Principal has been directed to inform all the students.
