20-bed Neurology Department inaugurated at Allied Hospital

FAISALABAD: Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Railways MNA Mian Farrukh Habib said the PTI government was giving priority to ensure quality healthcare facilities to the masses at their doorstep.

Talking to the media after inaugurating 20-bed Neurology Department at Allied Hospital Faisalabad here Saturday, he said that previous rulers looted and plundered national wealth with both hands and failed to provide basic amenities of life to the people.

However, the PTI government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan was providing all basic facilities to the masses especially living in far-flung ruler areas.

He said that the healthcare facility was a basic right of the people and the government would utilize all resources to provide the facility.

For this purpose, a roadmap has been prepared under which free healthcare facilities along with free medicines would be available for the general public in government hospitals.

He said the government had already launched Shelter Homes, Health Cards and Housing Scheme projects and now it had decided to bring a huge package of Rs 82 billion for the relief of common persons.

Responding to a question, he said that previous finance minister ruined the national economy with ill-conceived policies and now he was hoodwinking the people.

The corrupt elements looted national wealth for 40 years and now their accountability has started and they would not be tolerated at all, he added.
