ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday ordered Foreign Office (FO) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for taking emergency steps for bringing back a child who had been taken abroad by his father after having differences with wife.
Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb was listening to a petition filed by the mother of such child against the father for taking her 3-year old boy to Dubai without consulting her.
Officials from FO disclosed before the court that steps had already been taken in this regard by contacting the UAE embassy whereas the embassy had asked for few time in this regard.
Justice Mian Gul Hassan stressed for adopting through proper channel strategy in this regard.
The court ordered FIA for presenting Muhammad Usman, the father of boy, before the court in next week at any cost.
FIA had already blocked the ID card and Passport of Muhammad Usman to avoid his further travelling till the case is solved.
The court adjourned the hearing for a week.
It is pertinent to mention that the mother of such three-year boy, Hania Usman had filed a petition in IHC for custody of his son which was taken by his father abroad last year.
