Prime Minister Imran Khan has emerged as the 9th most popular world leader as proven by the number of his followers on Twitter.
According to Spectator Index, a website that displays statistics and international rankings from the fields of politics, economics, history, military affairs, sports, science and technology, the premier is at the 9th place amongst world leaders.
The number one spot has been secured by US President Donald Trump who has a total of 59.5 million followers.
PM Khan, with 9.4 million followers lies between Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum with 9.6 million followers and King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, who has a total of 7.3 million followers.
The premiere was popular even before coming into power, the last year spectator Index placed him at 7th spot with 8.17 million Twitter followers which after taking the premiership has shot up to 9.4 million followers.
