Met dept forecasts hot weather in Sindh, south Punjab

KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Wednesday said that dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while hot weather will hit south Punjab and Sindh on Thursday.

Light rain thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected in Malakand, Kohat divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

During the past 24 hours, the weather remained dry in most parts of the country while hot weather was prevalent in south Punjab and Sindh.

Recent maximum temperature was 44C which was recorded in Sindh’s district of Shaheed Benazirabad.
