BAHAWALPUR: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested two suspected terrorists of a banned outfit, and recovered explosives, hand grenade and cash collected for the defunct organisation from their possession.
The CTD on an intelligence tip-off regarding presence of extremists conducted an operation in Saddar area of Bahawalpur.
The suspected terrorists were identified as Hikmat Shah and Ahmad Raza. CTD officials said that the nabbed terrorists wanted to target sensitive installations in Bahawalpur.
The detainees were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
