ISLAMABAD: After hitting one million subscribers on his YouTube Channel, distinguished Pakistani religious figure Moulana Tariq Jameel has received YouTube’s Golden Play Button Award.
The awarded channel, named Tariq Jamil Official, has become the Pakistani’s first Islamic online streaming content provider to receive this award.
After the noted scholar received the award, the channel uploaded a video of the Moulana gleefully unboxing it.
While referring to Islamic propaganda being associated with his name, he clarifies in the video that this is his only official channel and that many have been sharing content giving his references; such content should not be associated with him.
Pakistani religious Islamic scholar, preacher, and public speaker Moulana Jameel also has an international following, and is ranked No. 40 on the list of the ‘World’s 500 Most Influential Muslims’.
