Balochistan govt has formed a plan for Quetta’s development

ISLAMABAD: Balochistan government has formed a plan for the development of Quetta city under the vision of Chief Minister to overcome the rising pollution.

Talking to APP on Sunday, Quetta Development Authority (QDA) Chairperson Bushra Rind said a comprehensive plan, on the directives of the Balochistan Chief Minister, has been prepared to initiate the development projects in the provincial capital.

She said the government would spend an amount of Rs262.671 million for the widening, lightening, carpeting and renovating of different roads of the city to ensure smooth travelling.

She said, unfortunately, none of the previous administrations had focused on Quetta’s improvement.  She said the previous governments did not pay proper heeds to the development of the city on modern lines.

She said Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has also directed for proper urban planning for Quetta so past glory of the provincial capital could be restored.

She informed that the chief minister would himself inspect the ongoing development schemes of Quetta.
