ISLAMABAD: The Rawalpindi National Accountability Bureau (NAB) grilled former Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah for about 40 minutes in two separate cases on Wednesday.
According to a NAB press release, a Combined Investigation Team (CIT) headed by NAB Rawalpindi Director General Irfan Mangi questioned Qaim Ali Shah about his involvement in the cases, besides handing him over a written questionnaire with the direction to submit his reply within 10 days.
“The NAB team would review the ex-Sindh CM’s answers in the light of relevant law and decide about summoning him again for further questioning,” the press release added.
Talking to media persons, Shah said that he remained Sindh’s chief minister thrice, but no case of wrongdoing had been registered against him.
