DAUR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, while lashing out at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government and Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday, said that “shrieks are coming from the Prime Minister’s House”.
“They are afraid of Shaheed Bhutto even after 40 years,” the PPP chairman said while addressing party workers and activists at Daur Railway Station where his train march reached from Nawabshah.
“Khan Sahib’s every promise proved to be fake,” he said, taking a swipe at Prime Minister Imran Khan. “This is a puppet government. What prime minister is he who is taking U-turn after U-turn?”
The PPP chairman alleged the PTI came to power through electoral rigging. They could not gag opponents using the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), he added. He also said that NAB law was promulgated by military ruler General (r) Pervez Musharraf to victimise political opponents.
“A great leader never bows to a dictator,” he said, questioning, “Why do they think that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s grandson and Benazir Bhutto’s son will keep mum?”
“We do not oppose accountability but will not accept revengeful accountability,” he asserted.
Led by Bilawal, a train march titled “Karawane Bhutto” resumed its journey from Nawabshah Railway Station on Wednesday.
The train march arrived at Nawabshah railway station in the wee hours on Wednesday after making a stopover at different stations, including Hyderabad railway station, after it began its journey from Karachi.
The two-day train march began from Karachi Cantonment Railway Station at 11:30 am on Tuesday and will reach Larkana on Thursday after completing a 48-hour journey.
