LONDON: The International Institute for Justice Excellence will award ‘International Justice Excellence Award’ to former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Justice (Retd) Tassaduq Hussain Jilani.
An honorary member of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Justice Jilani will be presented the award in the Grand Foyer of the Peace Palace on May 28.
President ICJ Justice Abdulqawi Ahmed Yusuf will be the keynote speaker on the occasion.
Jilani will be present in person to receive the award and will address the audience, said London based solicitor Rizwan Sulheria, who has received an invitation to attend the event.
“It’s a big honour for Pakistan that former CJP Justice Jilani will be receiving this prestigious award. Leading jurists of the world will be present on the occasion. Justice Gilani has been selected for the award based on his contribution to the field of law. He is considered a leading jurist of the world.” she added
