Sindh governor, CM pays tribute at Quaid’s mausoleum

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah along with his cabinet ministers on Saturday a paid visit to the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,  offered Fateha and laid floral wreath on the Mazar.

Sindh Chief Secretary Mumtaz Ali Shah, Sindh IGP Kaleem Imam, officers of the armed forces and other dignitaries also arrived at the mausoleum and paid homage to the founding father.

Addressing media outside the mausoleum, the provincial governor and chief minister said that only a united nation could defend the country. March 23, 1940 was a historic day when the Pakistan Resolution was passed, which paved the way for the creation of Pakistan, they added.
