LAHORE – Following backlash against his hypocrisy in the aftermath of a tweet where he criticised the Aurat March, leading Lollywood actor and producer Shaan Shahid has begun to self-reflect, The Dependent has reliably learnt.
Sources close to the superstar reveal that he is actually working on unlearning his own bias and bigotry and will look to make that evident by making more progressive movies in the future.
Sources have further revealed that Shaan has already started working on his first project of the unlearning phase, tentatively entitled Woke Gujjar Tay Feminist Majaajan.
Those already a part of the project reveal that the film would be a consensual love story between two progressive minded individuals playing their part in establishing an egalitarian society as the couple fight to overcome gender stereotypes and roles.
It is expected that Shaan will play the title role of the Woke Gujjar, with Saima playing the feminist majaajan.
Sources close to Shaan further reveal other feminist projects are in the pipeline as well. Some rumoured names include Barabari Da Kharaak, Jinsparast Jatta, Pidarshahi Da Vair, Mujhay Consent Chahiye, Sexist Shahpuria, among others.
Shaan is expected to star in the leading role in all of these films himself.
