Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed has expressed fears that he will be blamed for any attack on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.

“I get scared whenever I see his head out of a vehicle’s sunroof,” he said in an interview with SAMAA TV.

On Wednesday, the PPP leaders announced that they will file a case against the Railways minister for threatening Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Rasheed tweeted on March 16 about Bilawal and said, “People say Bilawal is a child. Bilawal should play it safe otherwise he’ll get killed in politics”.

The PPP scion has come on the radar following his explosive remarks against the government in recent press conferences. On March 20, he claimed that the government didn’t arrest the leaders of banned outfits but took them into “protective custody” to save them from Indian jets.

“They have been taken into protective custody so that the Indian planes don’t blow them up,” Bilawal told reporters in Islamabad. He was commenting on the federal government’s recent crackdown against banned outfits, including Jaish-e-Mohammad and Jamaat-ud-Dawa.

“Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is playing on the Indian pitch,” he said. The federal minister claimed that former president Asif Ali Zardari is willing to sacrifice his own son to protect himself.
