The latest promo shows eminent personalities including journalist Hamid Mir and playback singer Naheed Akhtar chanting “Pakistan Zindabad” which literally means ‘long live Pakistan’.

The Pakistan Day parade – which traditionally features Pakistan Army, Navy and the Air Force contingents – will also have contingents from China and Turkey in attendance.
According to an earlier announcement by the Foreign Office, Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is arriving in Pakistan today on a three-day official visit, will be the Guest of Honor at the grand ceremony.
Pakistani High Commissioner in Malaysia Nafees Zakaria called on Mahathir Mohamad in November last and extended an invitation to attend Pakistan’s National Day on March 23 which was, subsequently, accepted by his office.
