NAUNDERO: A 35-year-old man, Shaman Shar, was gunned down in village Ghaho Shar located within the limits of Garhi Khuda Bux police station on Tuesday.
He was a resident of Wandh Imdad Ali Bhutto. The police reached the spot and shifted the body to RHC Naundero for conducting an autopsy after which the body was handed over to the relatives.
Rahib Shar, uncle of the deceased, told newsmen that three months back Shaman Shar accused son of Naban Shar of being his wife’s karo and also sent his supposedly kari wife home due to which both parties had a dispute.
“I and Shaman had gone to the village Ghaho Shar to inquire about the health of my sister and when we were coming back in the morning, we were waylaid by seven accused including Naban, Manthar, Rustom alias Loh, Akbar and Ali Nawaz Shar who started firing at my nephew due to which he was killed and the killers fled,” he said.
SHO Asghar Solangi said both the sides had a dispute over karo-kari due to which Shaman was killed because he refused to get the issue resolved through a jirga.
