ATC adjourns IDC attack case hearing till April 2

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of a case pertaining to the attack on Islamabad District Court (IDC) in 2014, on prosecutions’ request as complete case property was not available in the court.

The ATC judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi directed for ensuring case property on next date and issued notices to witnesses for next date of hearing.

The prosecution disclosed in the court that witness Riaz Ahmed Gondal was present in the court but complete case property was not available against which the judge asked to ensure presence of witnesses and case property in court on the next date at any cost.

The court had already recorded the statements of 14 witnesses in the case. Five accused had been indicted in the case.

The hearing was adjourned till April 2.
