The district administration of Bajaur has announced to restore mobile internet service in the tribal district with immediate effect.
An official of the district administration told Radio Pakistan Bajaur correspondent that the decision to restore the mobile internet service was made on the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s directives.
“In compliance of the directions of the Honourable Prime Minister Islamic Republic of Pakistan during his visit to Tribal District Bajaur on 15th March 2019, the Provincial Govt. has decided to unblock the 2G/3G/4G services of different cellular companies operating in the Tribal District Bajaur,” the Deputy Commissioner of Tribal District Bajaur announced in a notification.
The official said the mobile internet service in the district is expected to resume on Tuesday.
