LONDON: A protest march was held on Sunday in front of Indian High Commission in London to express solidarity with innocent Kashmiris and highlight unabated brutalities being committed by Indian occupied forces in held valley.
Jammu and Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) Chairman, Raja Najabat Hussain lead the demonstration.
Addressing the participants, he said lasting peace in South Asia was impossible sans granting right to self-determination to Kashmiris, according to a message received here.
Referring to recent Pak India tensions, he said the Kashmir dispute has brought two neighbours to brink of war. The world has seriously starting to feel the seriousness of the dispute between two nuclear states.
Raja Najabat thanked participants for coming from across the United Kingdom to attend the demonstration.
Leader of Azad Jammu and Kashmir People’s Party Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin said saner voices in India did not favour Modi’s confrontation policy.
A large number of Kashmiris, representatives of almost all political parties of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir participated in demonstration rally.
