AUCKLAND: New Zealand rugby star Sonny Bill Williams on Friday took to Twitter and paid an emotional tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack in Christchurch mosques.
49 people were killed and more than 20 injured in the New Zealand city of Christchurch on Friday when at least one gunman opened fire on worshippers in what appeared to be the worst attack against Muslims in a western country.
“My heart is hurting about the news coming out of Christchurch. Sending love & prayers to the affected families,” said Williams in a video message.
