RAWALPINDI/KARACHI – As the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League approaches its finale in Karachi, nation’s cricket fans were reminded that they should keep sports and politics separate unless they were ‘really really desirous’.
The reminder comes amidst growing desire to mix sports and politics among the locals ahead of Sunday’s PSL final.
“Dear Pakistanis you are desirous to mix sports and politics. Your love and support is humbly acknowledged. But sports are beyond politics, so keep them separate unless are really really desirous,” the nation’s cricket fans were told on Thursday.
In the same message the nation was reminded to keep its bondage in mind and remember who it is really bonded to and who it cannot bond with.
While a large chunk of the nation, and by correlation of the nation’s cricket fans, have expressed their fondness for the bondage and admitted the fact that they indeed are really really desirous, sceptics point out towards the mixture of sports and politics delivering unpleasant results in the region this month
At press time, the nation was busy forming adjectives from words more commonly used as verbs and nouns.
