LAHORE: Days after his removal as Punjab information minister, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fayazul Hassan Chohan took to Twitter on Wednesday to express his love for the country and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Expressing gratitude to the people who expressed solidarity with him in the wake of his removal over controversial remarks against the Hindu community, he said he would stand by the prime minister in any situation whether it is war or peace.
He said he loved three things: Pakistan, Pakistan, and Pakistan.
Earlier, on March 6, Chohan was removed as information minister over his derogatory statement against the Hindu community.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had directed the Punjab chief minister to take action against Chohan over his remarks.
Chohan’s derogatory statement against the Hindus irked PM Khan who directed the provincial authorities to ask the Punjab information minister to tender his resignation. He said that such statements will not be tolerated anymore which hurt sentiments of believers of any religion.
