The premier said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s forest cover has been increased by 4 per cent which is contributing to the fight against climate change.
Under PM Imran, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, which came to power this year, pledged to plant billions of trees to tackle the effects of climate change.
In 2013, the PTI-led KP government introduced a green-growth initiative to tackle deforestation, build more small-scale hydroelectric projects and overhaul national parks.
