Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday directed Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda to “exercise caution” in the choice of words and their utterance.
According to media reports, the prime minister issued the directives during a meeting of the federal cabinet, reports said, which lasted for more than three hours.
“You are federal minister, speak after due consideration,” PM Khan was quoted as telling Vawda.
“Exercise caution in the choice of words and their utterance in future.”
The prime minister advised all the ministers not to disregard manners during conversation, according to reports.
“Ministers have the huge responsibility of expediting implementation of the government’s reforms agenda,” they quoted Khan as saying.
“Ministries and departments should timely achieve their targets and present their reports.”
The premier further directed all the cabinet members to speak responsibly to the media and at public gatherings, reports added.
