KARACHI: With the fourth edition of the celebrated Pakistan Super League (PSL) about to come home, actress Mahira Khan has welcomed the international cricket stars to Pakistan – and especially to her city, Karachi.
Khan, who took to Twitter Thursday night, shared an adorned picture of metropolis’ Shahrah-e-Faisal brimming with vivid lights.
“So happy to welcome all the international cricketers to my city Karachi. Can’t wait to watch cricket on Pakistani grounds. Let the games begin! #HBLPSL #CricketComesHome,” she captioned the picture.

PSL players have started to land in Karachi for the Pakistan-leg of the league which is starting Sunday. Some of the key international cricketers include Darren Sammy, Shane Watson, DJ Bravo, Sandeep Lamichhane, Rilee Rossouw, Luke Ronchi, Phillip Salt and Camron Delport.
Much anticipated Lahore Qalandars’ AB de Villiers will not be coming to Pakistan after he suffered a back injury and has been advised bed rest for two weeks.
In the opener, Karachi’s historical National Stadium will host Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United. The final fixture will be played on March 17 at the same venue.
