LAHORE: An anti-corruption court on Friday confirmed interim bail granted to PML-N MNA Afzal Khokhar, MPA Saiful Malook Khokhar and their brother Shafi Khokhar in a case against them over illegal construction of Khokhar palace.
The court directed the brothers to submit surety bond of Rs 50,000 each for bail confirmation.
Special Judge Anti-Corruption Court Bahadur Ali Khan conducted proceedings of the case wherein counsel of the parties advanced their arguments.
The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) had registered a case against Khokhar brothers in 2018. The ACE alleged that the accused illegally got the palace land consolidated and then illegally constructed Khokhar Palace over it.
