PSL stars begin arriving in Karachi ahead of home matches

The UAE-leg of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season four has been completed and the tournament is all set to enter Pakistan, or more specifically Karachi, leg for which the players have started arriving in the metropolis.

Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed and star batsman Umar Akmal along with others have reached Pakistan while more names are on their way.

Gladiators allrounder Shane Watson will be flying to Karachi on Thursday night while Rilee Rossouw, Dwayne Bravo and Fawad Ahmed are also prepping up to join the rest.

Players from the Lahore Qalandars camp will reach Karachi through two different flights on Thursday along with cricketing stars belonging to Islamabad United and Karachi Kings.

While other Islamabad United players are ready to come to Karachi including Luke Ronchi, Phillip Salt and Camron Delport England’s Ian Bell will be unable to join the tournament’s Karachi leg. He was ruled out of the league due to an injury.

After getting disqualified from the playoffs Multan Sultans will have only one match in Karachi which they will play against Qalandars.

Peshawar Zalmi is the only team whose players have previously flown into the country for the earlier editions of PSL and will continue to do so this year as well which was confirmed by the team’s owner, Javed Afridi.
