Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal on Thursday said that Pakistan is currently examining the dossier handed over by India to Pakistan about the February 14 Pulwama attack.

In a tweet, he rejected India Today’s report about Pakistan rejecting the dossier. He said that Pakistan will convey its position after reviewing the dossier.

“We have seen the news report in “India Today” which claims that Pakistan has ‘rejected’ the dossier given by India about the attack in Pulwama. This is incorrect. Dossier is being examined and we will soon convey our considered view on it,” he said.

On February 27, India handed over a dossier to acting high commissioner of Pakistan with “details” regarding Pulwama attack. FO said that the government will give a statement after reviewing it. New Delhi asked Islamabad to take necessary steps in this regard.

The dossier was handed over to Pakistan after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech in which he offered the Indian government to hold dialogue for peace and stability in the region.
