AJK appreciates ‘goodwill gesture’ to release of Indian pilot

MIRPUR: People across AJK including Mirpur Friday continued holding mass rallies the third consecutive day to reiterate full solidarity with the valiant armed forces of Pakistan with the renewal of the pledge to be alert and vigilant every moment to frustrate every aggression of the enemy against the motherland shoulder to shoulder the armed forces of the country.

The rallies appreciated the demonstration of Pakistan’s great generosity through releasing of the recently captured Indian pilot Abhinandan as a high goodwill gesture toward peace.

They described the decision of freeing the Indian pilot as the ample proof of the peace-loving and high statesmanship approach of the Pakistani leadership, especially Prime Minister Imran Khan.

As reported earlier, AJK had celebrated the shooting down of two Indian warplanes by Pakistan Air Force one each in Azad Jammu Kashmir and occupied Kashmir territories while violating the Line of Control and the air space of Pakistan Wednesday morning.

In Mirpur, hundreds of the citizens from all walks of life including the local college and varsity students staged a mammoth rally after ‘Jumma’ prayer to express full solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan.

Addressing the rally, speakers including renowned religious scholar Mufti Muhammad Rowais Khan, President Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran (Ittehad Group) Choudhry Mahmood, Jamaat e Islami AJK leaders Bashir Shagoo, Muhammad Ayub Muslim, Zulqarnain Butt, Shakoor Mughal and others warned India of identical matching response if it again tried to launch any aggression against Pakistan or AJK – by fighting shoulder to shoulder with the valiant armed forces of Pakistan for the defence of inch after inch of the motherland.

Chanting full-throat Pakistan Zindabad, armed forces of Pakistan Zindabad slogans, speakers said the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir are always fully prepared, with full vigor, to make defence of Pakistan and AJK through thwarting every impending Indian aggression.

They called upon India to give a matching response to Pakistan’s persistent offer of the emergence of peace through the early peaceful settlement of all longstanding issues including the flash issue of Jammu Kashmir through the result-oriented dialogue.

It is pertinent to mention here that despite the prevailing aggressive posture of India at the frontiers including the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir since the Pulwama incident, the morale of the forward areas population close to this side of the LoC in AJK are extremely high with the spirit of giving befitting response in same coin to every misadventure of the enemy, should to shoulder the valiant armed forces of Pakistan, for the defence of every inch of the motherland.

BAJAUR PEOPLE HOLD RALLIES AGAINST INDIA:

Traders, political activists and transport organisations carried out rallies against India and expressed solidarity with Pakistani armed forces.

Three large rallies were held in Inayat Kalli Bazaar wherein participated by people from all walks of life.

Participants were holding Pakistani flags, banners and placards inscribed with slogans against India and in support of Pakistan armed forces.

They also chanted slogans against India for violating the Pakistan airspace and for the bravery of Pakistan Air Force for shooting down two Indian fighter jets.

Participants pledged to stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan armed forces for the protection of motherland.

They said that people of Bajaur would be at the front line with forces if India dared any misadventure.
