LAHORE: One killed and at least seven persons received severe burn injuries as a gas leak explosion occurred in the Johar Town area of Lahore on Thursday.
The rescue sources said that the ill-fated incident occurred due to gas leakage in the house.
The fire brigade had reached the spot and was busy in extinguishing the fire whereas cooling process was underway, according to rescue officials.
The dead body and injured had been shifted to a nearby hospital, the sources said.
