Saudi King orders to release Egyptians prisons


RIYADH: Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has ordered the release of Egyptians prisoner imprisoned in Saudi Arabia, a local media outlet reported.

A statement issued by the Saudi Press Agency said the Egyptian embassy in Saudi Arabia will coordinate with the concerned authorities to ensure the prisoners’ speedy return to Egypt.

According to Al Arabiya TV, the released prisoners might involve those who violated the residency rules or could not pay fines imposed on them in order to return to their countries.

The decision was during the Saudi King’s visit to Egypt to attend the League of Arab States (LAS)-EU Summit in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh.
