KARACHI: As many as 25 more dengue fever cases surfaced in Karachi in a week, taking the reported cases toll to 227 since 1st January 2019.
As per weekly report issued by the Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 25 new dengue fever cases were reported throughout Karachi city in a week.
In February, a total of 89 dengue positive cases emerged across Sindh province out of which 88 happened in Karachi and one in another district.
A total of 232 dengue cases were detected in Sindh province so far out of which 227 were in Karachi and five in other districts.
A death also occurred in Karachi city due to dengue fever this year so far.
