MIAN CHANNU: A woman was arrested on Sunday along with her alleged paramour after being chased by the police for throwing hertwo daughters in the canal.
The woman threw her two daughters seven-year-old Ayesha and three-year-old Kainat in Mailsi Link Canal near village 84/15-L Mian Channu and tried to flee the scene.
It was reported that the woman’s husband, Shabeer said that his wife, Rukhsana was fleeing with her alleged paramour Qamar when people of the area chased them.
The culprits were handed over to Chab Kalan Police and the Rescue 1122 personnel started search for the two girls thrown in the canal.
