Fire injures over a dozen people in three incidents

NOWSHERA: Nine people including 6 children have suffered fire-related injuries in an explosion which took place in Nowshera locality of Shadu due to the filing of gas in the house. Rescuer staffers extinguished the fire and shifted the injured to the hospital. A hospital official said that the injured are out of danger.

In the second incident in Quetta, Fida Mohammad made an abortive attempt to lit the heater and suffered fire-related injuries due to leakage of gas.

He has been shifted to burn unit of the BMC hospital for treatment where according to doctors he has suffered 80 per cent of his body.

The third incident took place in Talumba, Khanewal where the cylinder of gas balloons burst injuring three persons including two children. The injured have been shifted to hospital.
