Pakistani woman shot by Indian BSF succumbs to injuries

NAROWAL: A Pakistani woman who unintentionally crossed into India two days ago succumbed to injuries she had sustained by bullet firing, local media reported on Saturday.

The woman Gulshan Bibi, who was 24-years old, was shot multiple times by the Indian Security Force (BSF).

Her family said that she was unaware that she had crossed the border near Narowal. “She was shot at almost immediately and later succumbed to her injuries at an Indian hospital,” they said.

According to concerned officials, the victim’s body would be handed over to Pakistani officials on Saturday.
